Within Australia, many Health Funds are now providing reimbursement following the purchase of the ErecAid System. The patient would need to have extras cover. Whether or not a fund will reimburse a patient is assessed on a case by case basis. Patients are encouraged to contact their relevant health fund to enquire. Claims are assessed on issues such as the individual’s claiming history, length of time with the fund, and sometimes whether a specialist referral is provided.
Medicare Australia do not provide coverage for the ErecAid System.
